Now about us. First and foremost we are sports nuts, more specifically college sports nuts who have run amuck recording games:o) Don’t ask why we do it because we’re not even sure why we do it. We guess it’s just our love for all things sports.

Anyway this is a hobby that has gone terribly wrong. That’s because of all the people from around the world wanting games from us! We think that’s cool but it sure is time consuming and could take up all of our personal time if we let it.

But we don’t. We do this on the side and keep it a hobby. That being said allow me to tell you how we do this.

  • First and foremost we want to TRADE games (in other words exchange) with you. Meaning if you have something we don’t and we have something you want, we will trade it straight across with no money changing hands.
  • BUT if you do not have a game we want or can use but we have a game or games you want then there will be a small charge.

Here’s why…

We use to make game DVD’s for free for people but as our reputation grew so did the demand for the games. Soon we were not only spending time burning these games but using our disc, buying boxes and then driving to the post office where we paid to ship the “FREE” game to someone who wanted it. That got expensive fast! Not to mention all the time away from family and friends.

So we now charge a “Small” fee to cover our expenses. The fee range from a small one for one DVD and go up as you add more DVD’s. And yes, there is a discount for larger orders. Finally keep in mind, this is a HOBBY. We are NOT a business. Some orders may take a while to complete because of the size or the backlog. We do this in our spare time. It is NOT our livelihood so please be patient if you place an order.

We use the world famous and ultra secure paypal for payments. Don’t worry if you don’t have a paypal account, they process major credit cards too. And they process millions around the world with no problems whatsoever, so you can trust them.

A couple of things about the site. We have a FORUM for other self proclaimed sports nuts. Check it out, you’ll have fun. Also our list of games are on PDF documents which means if you don’t have Adobe PDF Reader you will need it to access the documents. You can get a FREE copy of it here – FREE Adobe Reader Here.

Well that’s it. Thanks for stopping by and look for us on the Forum. We go there oursevles quite often!

What A Great Day To Be A Card Fan!!

I know, I’m suppose to be unbiased when it comes to writing stories about things you care about.  But this day is just to much for me to hold back my feelings so here we go.

First my Louisville Cardinals advance to the Final Four with a convincing victory over Duke. What started out as a tight game suddenly turned into a rout when Louisville went on one of their patented devastating runs. In this case it was a 17-2 run that did in Duke. After that run all that was left was what the final score was going to be.

Secondly my Lady Cards pulled off one of the most amazing and unexpected victories in women’s basketball history with a monumental victory of defending national champion Baylor Lady Bears! This was as improbable a victory as anyone could have imagined. I mean Louisville wasn’t even in the discussion when people talked about teams that may make noise in the ladies NCAA tournament.

But low and behold here they are. In the sweet sixteen! Amazing! Just amazing!

Louisville Cardinals Win Final Big East Men’s Basketball Tourney

Well, it finally happened. Greed has destroyed another icon of college sports. Long recognized as the premier basketball league, the BigEast has finally fallen to the greedy hands of ESpin, College University Presidents and Chancellors, and the underhanded backroom dealing Athletic Directors and League Commissioners.

May sound like harsh words but they are the truth. I know who they are and many in the media know  who they are as well. Their greed will continue to erode and finally destroy college athletics as we know it. So enjoy it fans while you can. College sports is quickly becoming the development league for the pro leagues and the money bags for all the crooks and scam artist dressed in 3 piece suits.

Here is a video with Rick Pitino on winning the final BigEast Tourney.

I’ve seen a lot of monster slams in my time, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley & Dominique Wilkins to name a few but this one has to rank as one of my all time favorites. I would put it right behind Michaels amazing dunk against the Atlanta Hawks as my all time favorite. Watch this amazing dunk and enjoy:o)

Gonzage vs Butler – 2013

Download with Vixy | Convert YouTube to MP3

Two of my favorite teams. I have been following these two long before they were household names. I have always liked the underdogs, but these two were fun to watch, entertaining and fundamentally sound. All of which made for an enjoyable experience.

So anytime these two hook up I do everything I can to watch. Unfortunately I missed this game :o( (If anyone has a copy, I’m interested!) Anyway I hate to see either one lose but I know they are both good enough to recover from the loss and still make the tourney.

Personally I think Brad Stevens is a star in the making. Yes, he has the attention of the nation because of his skills but I believe there is so much more he can achieve. He has all the tools to be something special. We shall see. Not saying what he has done so far isn’t good enough because taking Butler to back-to-back National Championship games is an amazing accomplishment in itself. I just believe from what I see he can accomplish more.

Mark Few on the other hand, well lets just say the jury is still out. There’s no doubt he’s an excellent coach. I can see that. And I like him and his style. I really do. But Gonzaga has achieve very little in terms of the tourney. They always end up short. And that’s my point. Championship coaches make the final game. They win regionals, go to sweet sixteens, elite eights and final fours. But the truly great ones win championships. Although Few and Gonzaga have won their share of league titles, been to a few sweet sixteens, that in of itself is not enough to be consider an elite or championship coach.

I hope that changes this year. I really want Gonzaga to do well this year. They are a very good to solid team. Whether they are an elite team that can win 5 or 6 in a row in the tourney, well the jury is still out. But I have my fingers crossed.

Butler on the other hand is solid all the way around and with a proven coach who thrives in the tourney on the sidelines you just never know about them. They could win 4 to 5 games and if lucky get back to the Championship game. Ought to be interesting to watch if nothing else.

So with all that said, I would like your input on my take regarding these two teams.

Have a good one!

Pitt vs Cincinnati – 2009 Big East Championship Game

Download with Vixy | Convert YouTube to MP3

I know, why post a game from 2009 in 2013? Because this is one of my favorite games! It had everything you could possibly want out of a game. Physical play, drama, momentum swings, teams playing hard and a crowd that was into the game!

Being a big BIG East fan made this a fun game to watch but when you add the fact I’m a closet Cincinnati fan it made this game all the more stressful and fun to watch. To be honest I really didn’t want to see Pitt lose but I couldn’t help but cheer for Cincinnati’s victory.

If you didn’t see the game, take few minutes to view this video to watch the momentum swing back and forth like a pendulum before finally settling on the victor – Cincinnati. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did then and have many times sense.

Cincinnati vs Virginia Tech – 2012

Download with Vixy | Convert YouTube to MP3

This is one of my favorite games. It happened in the first part of the season of 2012. At that time no-one knew what kind of season these two teams would have. As we know now VT (Virginia Tech) wasn’t as good as everyone thought they would be.

On the other hand Cincinnati had a season that was better than what most thought it would be. But when this was played the game was a big deal and a feather in Cincinnati’s hat. As if the game wasn’t good enough the ending top it off in spectacular fashion! It was a shame for VT to lose this way but what a great way for Cincy to win.

Although I caught most of the game I didn’t get to watch it all and was not able to record it. So if anyone has the Cincinnati vs Virginie Tech 2012 game in its entirety I would like a copy. I will trade you anything for it or pay you for it. Contact me HERE.

Super Bowl 2013

Well it’s over. The Super Bowl that is. And I must say it was very interesting to say the least. From having the historic brother vs brother angle to having the lights go out, this Super Bowl was full of story lines that intrigued you even if the game didn’t.

Thank God the game got close in the second half because it sure looked like a blowout in the first half was in the making. Have to give the 49ers and their coaches a lot of credit for regrouping and making a game of it. Actually they were in a position to win the game if it weren’t for a missed call on 4th and goal.

Continue reading “Super Bowl 2013” »

Regardless of what team you pulled for the bottom line is the rules clearly states that you can not physically interfere with a receiver after 5 yards. The play covered 7 to 9 yards based on stance you want to take. But, it’s clear that it was beyond the 5 yard zone the rules talk about. Matter of fact it was an obvious and extreme case of holding. But, have to give the defender credit. You make the ref make the call in those situations.

The ref didn’t. Just like when the pressure is on players when the game is on the line, so it is with referee’s and umpires. And some can handle the pressure and make the plays or calls and some can’t. In this case the ref couldn’t handle the pressure. He didn’t make the call. For whatever reason he let the play go even though it was clear in live action as well as replay there was holding on the play.

The other side of the coin is this. Allow the players determine the game. In other words let the players within reason determine the winner. And I feel that may have been what this ref was thinking. I believe he was letting the players determine the outcome of the biggest game of the year. If that was the case then he did the right thing. Outside of the receiver being pulled down by the defender, this ref wasn’t going to blow the whistle.

I can’t say I blame him. Personally I would have blown the whistle. But I can understand why he didn’t. We also have to understand that the 49ers got away with a pass interference two weeks prior in the NFC Championship game against Atlanta. A Matt Ryan pass over the middle late in the 4th quarter deep in San Fransico red zone was knocked down by #53 NaVorro Bowman. The bad thing is he practically ran over the receiver to knock the ball down.

He should have been called for interference on the play. It was clearly interference. But once again the ref did not make the call. The ref’s allowed the players to determine the game and outside of a blatant foul they just weren’t going to make a call in that situation. So at least the ref’s were consistent in their calls when you look at this play in the NFC Championship game and Super Bowl.

So in closing although I feel both plays were interference on the defenders, I do appalled and understand why the weren’t called interference. Was it fair to the losing teams? I’m sure they might feel different but the players and coaches understand that sometimes you get those calls and sometimes you don’t. In these cases they didn’t get the calls but these things have a way of working out and I feel the calls will go their way in the future.

The key is to keep your head and keep playing. I’m sure they will.

Congrat’s to the Ravens and their fans. You deserve your victory and trophy. Although I am a long time niners fan I respect your team and victory.

Louisville Cardinals vs Rutger Knights 2012

Download with Vixy | Convert YouTube to MP3

This is the game that set up Louisville’s stunning Sugar Bowl victory. Once again not many people thought Louisville had a chance at winning this game. That’s because UL had lost two straight to Uconn and Syracuse in unimpressive fashion. So no one who knew football really thought UL had a chance. And rightfully so.

Especially when you consider the following:

  • Bridgewater was banged up bad. Had a broken wrist with pins in it and a severely sprained ankle.
  • Because of his injuries his practice time was severely limited, thus his preparation was limited.
  • They were playing a Rutgers defense that was one of the tops in the country.
  • They were playing a Rutgers team that was highly motivated because there was a sellout and vocal crowd. There was the BigEast Championship on the line and the BCS birth to the champion. None of which Rutgers had ever won.
  • Finally Rutgers knew Louisville was struggling and their star player was injured.

As you can see there was a lot of negatives going against Louisville as they went into this game. Who would have blamed them if they had lost. But as we know now they did not lose. Matter of fact the put on a gritty show. Rutgers came out fired up and jumped on the young Cardinals.

Continue reading “Louisville Cardinals vs Rutger Knights 2012” »

Matter of fact Rutgers put points up quickly and in spectacular fashion making the crowd even more frantic. Every indication was this Cardinal team was going to lose this game and big. Once again who could blame them.

To their credit they didn’t. You have to give the coaching staff a lot of credit. They kept the young kids minds on the task at hand. Kept them focused on doing their jobs and doing them well. And you could tell they were trying. But at the beginning moments of the game, it wasn’t working all that well.

Will Stien started the game at quarterback and was doing a decent job but of course he was no Teddy Bridgewater. And to be honest, until this game, no one knew just how special or how much Teddy meant to this team. Of course we all knew he was talented and a budding star. We knew he was tough and a leader. All of that was shown through the first 9 games.

But we really didn’t know how special this young man was until he came into the game in the second quarter. When he took the field you could immediately tell there was something different about the team. You could see the confidence swell. Their swagger started coming back on both sides of the ball. And when Teddy got rolling, there was no stopping him.

I could go on and on but the best way to see what a special player and person this kid is and the impact he had on this game is to watch the video. It’s the whole game and it’s fun to watch. You’ll see a budding star in the making and be amazed at how he carried this team on his back to victory. You’ll also see a stunned crowd.

I will always look at this game as a turning point of our program. I’m sure everyone else will point to the Sugar Bowl, and rightfully so. But to me, this is the game. It showed grit, determination, a undeniable will and a focus on being the best no matter what the circumstances are or were during the game.

Those my friend are traits of a winner!

UL vs Florida – 2013 Sugar Bowl

Download with Vixy | Convert YouTube to MP3

The greatest game in UL Football history? If it isn’t it’s pretty darn close! Personally I would have to say yes and I would believe most UL fans would agree. Other games that could be considered the best would be…

  1. UL vs Alabama – 1991 Fiesta Bowl
  2. UL vs Florida State – 2002 @PaPa Johns
  3. UL vs WVU – 2006 @ PaPa Johns

Of course there are other important games but none that had the impact or national stage the three above had. This years Sugar Bowl was special for many reasons, mainly being no one gave the Cardinals a chance. Nobody, including Vegas gave the Cards credit for their record or for reaching the game. Vegas thought so little of the Cards that they had the as 14 point dogs.

Continue reading “UL vs Florida – 2013 Sugar Bowl” »

Needless to say the Cards shocked the world when they humbled the mighty Gators. To be honest it seemed from the second the game started that Florida’s goal was to smack Louisville in the mouth right away and watch them run home with their tails tucked.

But when Louisville didn’t fold but fought back it obviously caught the Gators off guard   So much so that they were never the same after that opening quarter. As they game went on it became obvious Florida didn’t know what to do with these angry birds or with their star quarterback who was eating them alive – the legendary Teddy Bridgewater.

To see why I say that, just watch some of this game. If you’re a football fan at all you’ll be impressed.
